I worked at an American Plan camp in Rome Maine for a couple of summers as a "cabin boy." We had a utility truck that was a good 30 years old then and is probably still in service now. It was strictly off road and Bert Mosher called it "the grunt bucket."
Bert had a tractor with similar lineage. I hastened the grunt bucket's ultimate demise one day when the other cabin boy suggested the tractor had more power then the grunt bucket. Well, we managed to pull the entire rack body off the truck during the tug of war, slapped it together before Bert saw what we were up to and she was none the worse for wear. Bert used to say to me " Everything you touch, you stave!" His exacts words....
