Geocache Description:

Should be a quick park and grab. Not a SMR type placement.

My grandfather liked Oldsmobiles. He was an attorney and eventually became a justice on the Maine Supreme Court. Like his undersigned grandson, he liked to drive "quickly."

He had an Olds 98, about a 1955 or so that I remember well. It had a horizontal bar graph type speedometer that changed colors as the speed increased. Green was between 45 and 50, purple was up to 65 and red was after that. We grandchildren used to love having grampy "put 'er in the red" while driving to and from the family camp on North Pond in Smithfield.

This is a full size cache, loaded with goodies including 2 path tags, carabiner, fish pin, 2 Olympic Key chains, a Rolex watch and a coozie from Cabela's. The watch keeps great time, I just don't wear it anymore.

There's no need whatsover to move anything to find this cache!

Congrats to Ed, Dave and Steve caching as Team LSD on their remarkable string of FTF's...86 total.

But bigger congrats to farmer and wife and "g" for the granddaddy of swag, a Rolex watch. While the watch hasn't be worn by me lately, it does keep great time and is certainly a conversation piece...especiallly among my farming friends!
