I have a friend that collects Pierce Arrows. He buys them at auction for amounts that would buy 20 new toyota's and then sends them to Hershey PA for a couple of years and gets them back after another small fortune in renovations and then drives the silly things.
On one drive, in February and in Maine with about ten people in the various seats, he was pulled over for going too slow. Everybody in the car was drinking high-end champagne except my friend the driver. He actually called me on his cell and asked me to talk to the cop! What was I supposed to say? "Wish I was there?"
