Cache near the Mercur Cemetery. You'll probably want to park over at the Mercur Cemetery entrance and hike the short distance to this cache.
I think this area is great, and I love the view from this hill. Take a moment to look out over the valley while you're looking for this cache. The area around is mostly dirt, but on drier days this might be a good spot for a picnic.
This is my very first geocache hide. I later hid another near the entrance on my way back to the parking area.
I put a few fun items inside, logbook, and several pencils and a sharpener. The container is stuffed full, so the First To Find should feel free to remove an item without putting one back in.
There's a clear path up to the cemetery. The cache is a short distance further down the hill from the Mercur Cemetery. Try not to disturb the fencing as you walk by, since some of it looks pretty old. Also, watch out for the occasional cactus or two.
