This cache is just off the trail on the Pine Creek Land Conservation Trust. The hike in and out is fairly easy...getting to the actual cache may be a challenge.
This cache is The Replacements. We started this cache to replace caches which we have found, which no longer exist, as well as to replace a special TB that had a rough life and has been MIA for quite some time. As of September 2013, the cache has been replaced twice.
The cache is a former plastic nut container which has been well camouflaged. Park in the parking lot at the Tuscan Inn, just off Wildwood Rd. Take the trail that crosses Grouse Run, maintained by the Pine Creek Land Conservation Trust. It is a well defined trail. Check out the fort built by the local high-school kids!
You will cross the creek a couple of times along your journey. In addition, you may encounter some marshy spots during the wet season. The cache contains typical kiddie treasure.
Boots are recommended for this hike. Your feet may get wet and/or muddy.
