I've been wanting to place a riverside cache in this area for
awhile and finally found a place to do it. After parking at the
nearby trailhead for
George Washington Slept Here and finding that cache I noticed a
pathway on the other side of the road that needed to be explored.
Down by the river there is a small network of fisherman trails
(a classic attribute to hidden holes) and traditional picturesque
Vermont scenery in a secluded location. There is a lot of wildlife
activity down here as well, especially by the local beavers. Check
it out, and enjoy the time!
Congrats on a very persistent well-deserved FTFTF (Fever To
First To Find): Orion & Son!
