This is another in the series of useful plants used in survival and basic backwoods camping. This seems to be the most popular camp of the year when they can cook on open fires, and build and sleep in their own shelters. This is muggle country, stealth and wood skills are required to retrieve this cache, or eyes in the back of your head!
The cache is at one with nature, you will need patience with the canopy cover and your GPS as with all backwoods skills. You may be stretched looking for this cache. The terrain is fairly level, but watch for tripping hazards if attempted after dark. This is a stand of Scots pine the pine is useful for firewood, which burns hot but rather quickly, it will create sparks, so watch the clothes! The resin burns readily, and can be used to make camp candles, or if warmed and mixed with charcoal it will make a passable glue.The larger branches can be used to thatch a shelter, smaller ones can be used to make a warm mattress. No doubt there are many more uses, which can be added to your log. The cache is a small screw top container which will hold the usual small swaps and travel coins. Please replace the same way up as you find it.
