It was a frosty night in Feburay 2002, i was 17 and walking back from my work at a local shop in Glyn Ceiriog. When suddenly a ghostly figure stood before me, white and with a fuzzy outline. I was shocked after far too many episodes of the x files and similar programmes.
Suddenly it let out a mighty...... Baaaaaaaaaa!!
....i then walked on home.

The cache is along the Old glyn road, a great walk from Glyn Ceiriog to Dolywern which is about 2 miles approximately. The lanes can get a bit narrow in places, but there are many, many lay-buys, gates and passing places.

This is a great map or road and routes for walking in the valley, the old road is the top road connecting Glyn Ceiriog to Dolywern. - hope it helps for this and other caches in the area. - it is also sign posted at its Dolywern route as 'the old road' and nearby labelled by an adjoining road as the B4500.
The cache is near a beautiful waterfall, small but still rather tranquil. there is also a nice view of the new road, and a curious gate to nowhere.
