This is a park that seems to be abandon by the City of Fort
Worth. There is a creek that dumps into Lake Worth running nearby.
A area that is cabled off to vehicle traffic is mowed this section
is just to the east of the cache site. Here there is a road that
has been made by people that come here to fish and or camp.(and a
little illegal dumping)I found a place where a campfire was made,
there are some concrete picnic tables close by but they are a
little run down and un-level. There are no street lights so after
dark it will be DARK!!! Close to the water there are some game
trails. Nutria I would guess, if so and you see some remember they
can be mean little critters. I walked around for a bit and didn't
see any evidence of illegal activity (not a lot of cigarette butts
old lighters and things of that sort). I know that places that are
secluded sometimes attract some undesirables. Still use common
sense if you come alone or close to dark (or after), I just haven't
spent a lot of time in this part of the world since I was younger
and would come here with my Dad and brothers for a little fishing.
