How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
A small cache placed on a very pleasant footpath approximately halfway between Mitcham Junction and Beddington Park, Hackbridge.
Although mainly easy going the footpath can be muddy in places and a recently repaired section (only about 20m long) is not unlike walking on brighton beach. There is also a bridge with narrow access near the Mitcham Junction end.
There have been some interesting bird sightings on the lake as you approach the Beddington Park end of the path so you may want to include binoculars in your backpack!
The cache is a shallow clear tupperware box with room for very small swaps and geocoins.
Please take time to replace and cover well.
UPDATE: Mitcham Junction Side Tracked has been archived but there are some golf related caches to the north by Wimbledonian which link the path to Mitcham junction and/or beddington lane tram stop.
