This cache is located in a nice little picnic area in front of The Centre, Rolla's excellent Health and Recreation complex. The picnic area is surrounded by landscaping that is maintained by the Phelps County Master Gardeners. The offices of the Rolla Parks Department are inside The Centre - when we first met with them about placing geocaches on their properties, they stated that it probably wouldn't be possible to place a cache in this area, because of the heavy public use. We took that as a challenge!
The cache is a magnetic nano container hidden in plain sight. No bushwacking is required!
