The cache is near the Spier's Old School Grounds and lies in the local Fairy Glen. You can park in a several places along the lane. You won't really need to cross the Powgree Burn, go through the field gate and through the field.
Almost a cache and dash really. Appropriate footwear - boots.
This cache was part of the John Muir Award work carried out by the Youth Making Beith Better Group.
An old water mill was located here with a miller's cottage
Gateside Village (has a nice Inn) is nearby and Geilsland House is on the same back lane, closer to Beith.
Spier's Parklands lies opposite Geillsand - it has two caches.
