Geocache Description:

Ground Zero is probably around a half mile down a trail (and then some bushwhacking in summer!) in the woods behind my sub-development. Trails are used by locals for hunting, hiking, walking, biking etc.

Terrain is rather hilly in some places, though the trail itself is fairly well blazed. You'll need to cross a creek in a few places which may become a river after heavy rains. The trail is mostly dirt, also, you may want to wear insect repellent or wear pants and long sleeves!

When we first moved here from New York one of the first things we did was take a peek behind out house at all the land. It was January, and it was desolate, but still awesome.

That Spring we went back and it was pretty awesome for a guy from Long Island who'd pretty much never left the urban sprawl.

After breaking my teeth on a few caches, I decided to place one in my favorite place to walk, bike, take pictures, and just relax!

Cache is fairly far along the trail, probably around a half mile. I think it's hidden pretty well, but we'll see.

Beware hunters in their season, as well as nasty insects you'd expect in a wooded area. There may be snakes, but I've yet to see any.

There are a number of trails once you start down the main path, one marked as Private so keep clear of that one.

TabTab busted her butt crossing the river to place this cache!
