Ponds, Dewponds and Lakes of Sussex #57 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

archaos: Sad to see these go, but as I have moved a bit further away cache maintenance is a bit difficult. Thanks to everyone who has accepted the challenge of a quite demanding route, and I hope you have all enjoyed it as much as I have.

Geocache Description:

Another cache in Martletsman's very successful and enjoyable 'Ponds' series.

#57 Lot's Pond

A concrete lined pond in the Grubbings on the eastern side of Stanmer Park. There is information available as to who Lot was, but I am unable to locate it at present. I believe Martletsman knows more.

How many times when out walking or cacheing have we come across a pond or Dew pond that seems to be asking to become a Cache?. So armed with pre-prepared micro, it is easy, see site, hide micro, record co-ordinates, get home and enter listing details. This series will consist of a mixture of:- caches in their own right caches situated on the way to other caches cache and dash types. In many cases you can decide which type you want it to be, and may want to look at your maps to decide before setting off. Cache is a 35 mm film canister containing logbook, please bring your own pencil.
