At the posted
coordinates you will find a plaque dedicated to the Hanlon Family
Pig Barn that once stood near this site. The Hanlon Family was one
of Guelph's early farming families. Stones from the original Pig
Barn were relocated here and used to build this structure and a
second nearby structure mentioned on the plaque. To determine the
coordinates for the final you will need to use the year listed on
the plaque for the date of the original pig barn. Divide the year
date of the pig barn by 1000, then add that number to both the
latitude and longitude minutes portion of these fictitious
