Located in a nice state wildlife and fishery area. There are two
nice parking areas off River Rd. – either will work fine for
this cache. No real trail out here, but there are a number of
fisherman trails that you can follow pretty close. Might be wet in
some spots in the spring, but should be dry most times of the year.
Close to the Kinni – take a walk over there and check out
this beautiful river. Regular camo plastic container awaits with
room for trade items. Hunting is allowed here during season (but
used mostly by fishermen).
The brown trout and the sea trout are fish of the same species.
They are distinguished chiefly by the fact that the brown trout is
largely a freshwater fish, while the sea trout shows anadromous
reproduction, migrating to the oceans for much of its life and
returning to freshwater only to spawn. The brown trout is a
medium-sized fish, growing to 20 kg or more in some localities
although in many smaller rivers a mature weight of 1 kg (2 lb) or
less is common.
