Geocache Description:

Well, if you hit a very long home run over the centrefielder's head and way past the right-centre field fence, it might land close to where the cache is hidden! That is, if it didn't splash in the swampy water...
Home Run Woods is a small cache hidden in the woods to the east of the ball diamond, with ample parking and even a playground next to the parking lot. You can access the parking lot on Burwell Road just south of Ron McNeil Line in St. Thomas.

The cache is small, camouflaged, and hidden with appropriate coverings deep in this woodlot. You may not be able to walk a direct route to the cache because of water and mud on the forest floor, unless you're wearing boots! But even if you don't have boots, you should be able to get to the GZ by a circuitous route without getting a soaker. In the cache is a log, a toy horse, and a pencil. Congrats to K-and-K for the FTF!
