Trekking back to the parking lot after placing a cache and found a likely spot for another hide. Who can resist?
This cache is a camo'd plastic quart-size screw-top container hidden just southwest of the lake in Shawnee Mission Park. Closest parking is the lot near the south end of the dam(Coords: N 38° 58.812 W 094° 48.615). Park hours are 5am - 11pm for March thru October; and 6:00am - 8pm for November thru February.
Encountered no ticks, PI or snakes there when we hid it, but they will almost certainly be around come warm weather.
