Geocache Description:

This cache was hidden for "Project RACECAR 2010"-- Regina Area Cache Explosion Event and should not be sought out until April 17th at 00:01 (12:01 a.m.). Any logs entered before that time will be deleted!

We have been planning on placing some caches along Highway 33 for some time. A chance to get off the highway and explore some of the small towns. We have traveled this highway many times, going to visit Mr. T's home farm, near Kisbey, Saskatchewan.

Creelman became a Village in 1906. Today their population is around 80. There is some local employment and some residents commute to Weyburn, Stoughton or Filmore. We had a great meal at their local diner! Saskatchewan artist Richard Widdifield graduated from the Creelman school!

The site for Evergreen Park was donated by S.N. Horner and the trees were planted in 1949. At the center of the park is a carin dedicated to the pioneers who settled here in the 1900's. Another plaque is dedicated to the "Pioneer Women" for their important part in building the community.

You are looking for a small camoed lock & lock. Please replace back where you found it -- will hidden so a muggle will not see it! A good practice is - take along a clothes pin and place it where the cache was. Then you know where to put it back! All good cachers carry a writing stick and other tools of the sport!
