Five Hundred SixtyFirst in the Famous People (FP) Series - Manuel DeBusk
Manuel DeBusk was educated in Texas public schools, attended Wayland Junior College, Texas Technological College (now Texas Tech University) and SMU Law School. He and his wife Edith established a law firm in Dallas specializing in Mortgage and Real Estate Law.

Manuel and Edith DeBusk established the DeBusk Foundation on March 5, 1979 as a means of giving financial support to charitable activities. Substantially, all monies now in the Foundation were contributed by the DeBusks because they wanted to set its goals, elect its directors and point its charitable direction while they were alive. They therefore, each provided by wills, that the survivor of them bequeaths his or her assets to the Foundation. Mrs. Edith DeBusk died on October 4, 1990 in Dallas County.

Mr. DeBusk remarried in 1992 to Jean DeBusk (d. January 12, 2001), who endorsed wholeheartedly the Foundation's objectives. Mr. DeBusk is actively transferring personal assets to the Foundation, so that by his death, DeBusk Foundation will have established its course of grant giving.

This multi-stage cache at Debusk Park takes you through some of the more remote parts of the park. There are redirectors at each stage and one of them contains the COMBINATION to the lock on the ammo can at the final. City of Mesquite Parks are open to activities and usage during the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

NOTE Sept 2016: Stage 5 is missing due to construction. When you get to stage 4 and find the coordinates to stage 5, simply ADD .001 to the North of stage 5 and SUBTRACT .069 from the West of stage 5. Those will be the coordinates to the final.
