We pulled off Highway 33 and stopped in at Osage to see what was here. We found the replica of the school and a dedication for the school. The school was built in 1905 and used up until 1969. After that the students were bused to Fillmore. Osage was named after the town, Osage, Iowa. That was the home town of the settler whose land the town is located on.
