We
FINALLY decided to keep our first event a small one and give back
to our beautiful community that we have now called home for the
past two years.
We would like
to take this opportunity to gather the Citrus County cachers and
anyone else that wishes to attend to help put the names and faces
together. This will be a great opportunity to swap caching stories,
and ask questions about geocaching.
We will gather
at 10:00 AM to get signed in, do a bit of meeting and greeting,
have lunch and then hit the trail for some CITO. Feel free to bring
Travel Bugs and Geocoins for discovery and to move
along.
The park is
not very large, so it will not take us very long to walk the trail
and pick up a bag o' trash! Please make sure that you bring some
gloves and a trash picker if you have one. We will supply the bags.
This is a cute little park that has a very nice covered pavilion,
playground, basketball court, baseball field and of course the
nature trail.
We will have a
pot-luck lunch before we hit the trail for a bit of CITO and of
course we will offer a couple of games and surprises. We will have
special activities for the kids, because we have 2 very special
little Geocachers on our Team!!
Team CeDo will
be providing the hot dogs, fixin's, plates, napkins. We are asking
that everyone please bring a dish to share and state in your log
what you will be bringing-that way we don't have all
desert.
As time gets
closer to the event we will be archiving our caches in the park and
placing a few new caches
Please come
help us give back to our community and keep The Nature Coast a
beautiful place to live and visit.
Team CeDo
