The Manuherika river rises in the far north of the Maniototo, flowing southwest for 85 kilometres before its confluence with the Clutha River at Alexandra. During the 1860s the Manuherikia was one of the centres of the Central Otago Gold Rush.
Take your fishing rod as well as your GPS and take care of children near the river and the road.
Cache is a 2L Sistema container at ground level containing logbook, pencil and a few small swaps.
