Geocache Description:

Should be an easy find in an obvious spot in the bush.

Due to my advancing age, I (and my doctor) am concerned about the possibility of my experiencing a medical situation while on the road to Maintain one or more of my 120 GC Geocaches and 50 GCA Geocaches.

If you live near this Geocache, or regularly travel near it, you might be interested in Adopting this Geocache (or more of mine). Please let me (WanderingAus) know by Message at
Geocaching Message Center
if you are interested, including the cache code or codes
(e.g GC26097 for this cache).

Due to the temporary nature of pens and pencils in my geocaches
BRING YOUR OWN WRITING IMPLEMENT!!!

I was wandering around with my son Shane, setting controls for his "Karn't Breakout" rogaine to be held on 27 March 2010, and at various spots I had the thought "this would be a good spot for a cache, must get back here and place one". I prepared four caches and four sets of Finder's Cards, and was waiting for the rogaine to be run before placing the caches.

Update 9 April 2021
After just 11 years the cache position is now within an active mine site so has been relocated to the area between the power line and Kingsbury Drive.

This cache is a drab camo'd 500 ml plastic screw top container, hidden within the depression formed by the burning out of a very large tree stump, concealed within an overhang by a piece of wood. Contents are log book, Finders Cards, pen, two pencils, sharpener, and a few swaps. Please be sure to seal the zip-lock bag and screw the lid on tight.

I was able to drive my Hi-Ace camper van a long way past the power line 11 years ago, but care should still be taken if you do not have 4WD, particularly at the track/power line trail intersection. If you park there it's only a short walk to GZ.

DO NOT CROSS THE POWER LINE TRAIL - The cache is behind you to the right.

This cache has been included in my Mystery Cache GC1QYV5 WanAus 89 - Roaming Western Australia replacing GC26097 WanAus 84 - Nyabing Nature Walk which was Archived. There are twelve caches each with an RWA number which must be found in order to solve the Mystery. There is now an RWA number in the back of the log book, which must be recorded in order to ultimately find GC1QYV5 WanAus 89 - Roaming Western Australia. You MUST record the number as 84n (where n refers to the third digit of the RWA number as found in the back of the log book) in order for the final calculations to be correct.

This is just a suggestion, but it may help you to keep track of the RWA numbers.
Every cache page has "*Personal Cache Note" *Click to enter a note, just above Geocache Description:
You could either add the code to each individual cache, or add all numbers to GC1QYV5 WanAus 89 - Roaming Western Australia.

When trading items please consider trading up or trading even and leaving items that you would want to find, and please don't take the pen, pencils or sharpener. If you can't trade up or trade even I don't mind seeing TNLNSL in the log. Also please don't put the pen or pencils in the log book bag, it tends to destroy the watertight integrity.

Trackables (geocoins and travel bugs) are not tradeable items. Please feel free to take them without making a trade, but please leave a note in the logbook and your online log, and do log them online.
