Cache placed with kind permission of Forestry Commission. Well off the beaten track. There are many ways to reach the cache but all of them will involve walking through the Forest of Dean and enjoying the peace. Not likely to be anybody near to the cache. Best place to park is at the free Forestry Commission parking area opposite the Speech House hotel.
Easy to turn this one into a long or shorter circular walk, taking in other caches nearby and the Sculpture Trail. Nearby is a large lake full of wildlife and herons very often seen. The lake is easily seen on OS maps but takes some finding on the ground.
Plenty of boar activity nearby.
