Infos zum Kletterfelsen / Informations concering climbing rock
Dieser Multi-Cache führt Euch zu einem Kletterfelsen in Zentrumsnähe von Linz. Genug Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es direkt vor dem Felsen (Headerkoordinaten). Es sind verschiedene Routen mit unterschiedlichen Schwierigkeitsgraden eingebohrt. Während zwei Routen links der glatten Hauptwand ungefähr den Schwierigkeitsgrad 6- und 6 nach UIAA aufweisen, sind die Schwierigkeiten in der Hauptwand teilweise erheblich höher. Wer sich den Vorstieg in einer dieser Routen nicht zutraut, hat die Möglichkeit die Routen im Toprope zu klettern. Dazu führt ein durchwegs wilder und nicht gerade ungefährlicher Weg (Terrain 4,5) auf der rechten Seite der Hauptwand nach oben zu den Standplätzen. Bitte seid extrem vorsichtig, es besteht überall absolute Absturzgefahr.
This Multi-Cache shows you a climbing rock near the city of Linz. Parking is available in front of the rock (header coordinates). There are several routes of different climbing grades. Two easy routes are located on the left-hand side of the smooth rock wall (climbing grades between 6- and 6 according to UIAA), whereas the smooth rock wall itself is definitely harder to climb. If you prefer top-rope climbing instead of lead climbing, you can use a dangerous and thorny way on the right-hand side of the rock up to the belay stations on top of the rock (terrain 4,5). Please be extremely careful and consider the high risk of fall all-around.

Wichtige Sicherheitshinweise / Important notes for safety
Der Cache sollte nur bei trockenen Verhältnissen, bei Tageslicht und aus Sicherheitsgründen keinesfalls alleine absolviert werden! Bitte verwendet eine redundante Absicherung beim Standplatz (zwei Bohrhaken stehen zur Verfügung) und seilt nur mit Prusik-Hintersicherung ab.
The cache should only be visited at dry conditions and daylight. Furthermore it is strongly recommended to meet the challenge not alone. Please use a redundant belay system by utilising two bolts and apply a friction knot below the descending device (short Prusik).
Die Aufgabe / The challenge
STAGE 1 - Schritt 1 / Step 1

Suche die sechs abgebildeten Bohrhaken in der Wand und bilde den Buchstaben "N", indem du diese Bohrhaken entsprechend verbindest. Messe die dafür notwendigen Bohrhakenabstände in Zentimeter (Bolzenmitte zu Bolzenmitte), bilde die Summe davon und dividiere das Ergebnis durch 3,54. Das Resultat ist X.

Search for the six bolts on the wall and create the letter "N" by connecting these bolts. Then you have to measure the appropriate distances in centimetres (bolt center to bolt center). Finally sum up and divide your result by 3,54. You get X.

STAGE 1 - Schritt 2 / Step 2

Bilde aus den sechs Bohrhaken den Buchstaben "E", indem du diese Bohrhaken entsprechend verbindest. Messe die dafür notwendigen Bohrhakenabstände in Zentimeter (Bolzenmitte zu Bolzenmitte), bilde die Summe davon und dividiere das Ergebnis durch 1,5. Das Resultat ist Y.

STAGE 2
Die Koordinaten von STAGE 2 können aus untenstehender Formel berechnet werden. Suche dort nach drei verschiedenen Zahlen und reihe diese zuerst aufsteigend der Größe nach und du erhältst NNN. Bei absteigender Reihung erhältst du EEE.

The coordinates of STAGE 2 can be calculated from the formula stated below. You will find three different digits, which have to be sorted upwards to get NNN. If you sort downwards you will get EEE.
