Geocache Description:

Luverly walk in Hooke Forest Park, A view and leg stretcher.

Forests are luverly places and sadly there are not enough of them.
This is the lovely Hooke Forest Park in Dorset that we first went to many years ago.
Tranquil, peaceful and cool after all the ups and downs of most other Dorset caches.

Hooke Park is designated as Ancient Woodland, and the forest is a mix of spruce,
beech and other species planted mainly in the 1950s. An active forestry programme
maintains the woodland, with the objectives of sustainable timber production and
improved biodiversity.

Park your car and take a stroll down the pathway.
After about 1/2 Mile you will see a watch tower tot he left, bear left off the road at this point.
You are going to go a little off path and up up and a little more up till you get to
where the forest meets the fields. There is a great view.

This is a park and has many entrances and many miles of paths to walk.
