I noticed there is a lack of simple minded puzzles in my
neighborhood so I thought I’d create one just for fun and the
heck of it.
The criteria must be that it is elementary. It must be solvable,
and not involve any super high tech methods like cryptology, no
incredibly twisted sports trivia searches, no software programming
skills to employ. In short it must use just the basic skill sets
that I presume all geocachers come equipped with.
So solving the puzzle is your job now.
I’ve taken my best shot at being clever without being too
evil. Yes I know that last part may be a little hard to believe but
if you are willing to work at it, this puzzle is readily
solvable.
Now the trick to doing something like this is to think outside
the box. I’m sure you have heard those words issued to you
perhaps by a hider in trying to hint you toward the solution of one
of their puzzles or locate a hide. Well as you probably know, that
is easier said than done. How do you think outside the realm of
what you know and have experienced? Good question huh. The best I
can tell you is start fresh.
That’s just what I did to create this puzzle. I started
fresh. I had a clean sheet of paper in front of me and I created.
Seated at my favorite table at PJ’s and trying the ignore the
occasional puzzle head searching for coordinates to find Exercise,
I did it.
Do not put this off.
The Chinese philosopher Lao-tzu said: “A journey of a
thousand miles begins with a single step”. So let’s get
cracking little grasshopper, the puzzle awaits you.
