This camoued peanut butter container cache is hidden in a rural park on the site of a pioneer village in Mornington Township named Morningdale. A quiet creek snakes its way through this ghost town which dates back to 1850, when there was a saw-mill, a hotel and a post office. Today, with the river, trees and parkland, Amish Paradise!
Welcome to the Morningdale TB Inn. What nicer place than this for a quiet, relaxing rest stop for traveling geo-coins and TB’s, centrally located within reasonable distance from several larger urban centres. Also, a reminder that you are in the heartland of the Mornington Old Order Amish community, the park is a playground for the local Amish children, so drive carefully around the horse and buggies. Finally, if you have time, wander into nearby Millbank, one mile south of Morningdale, and take a step back in time and enjoy the unique culture.
