This
is the fifteenth cache in my finite mathematical series. I am a
math teacher by day. I thought a cache series dedicated to math
would be a good way to educate the
public.

Geometry is the study of shapes, sizes, positions, and other
properties of space. Geometry is one of, if not the oldest of the
sciences still studied today. Around the 3rd century BC Euclid
revolutionized the study, teaching, and understanding of Geometry.
Other revolutionaries in the field include Pythagoras and his
school which gave us his famous Pythagorean Theorem, Descartes who
introduced the coordinate plane in the 12th century, Euler, and
Gauss who introduced non-Euclidean geometry.
In ancient times Geometry was on of three courses warriors, and
kings took to improve their skills. Geometry teaches reasoning and
logic, which is very helpful in battle. That tradition has survived
and a course of in depth Geometry is required to graduate high
school.
