The Berry Crew loves Baseball and Opening Day is the best day of the year for a baseball fan. Your favorite team, (no matter how inept), is in first place, the weather is turning warm, the days are getting longer and our thoughts turn to getting out for some great times at the Ballpark. We packed this cache with baseball related swag, (including an awesome autographed Berry Crew baseball). Bring your baseball themed swag to exchange! Play Ball!!!
We placed this cache at the end of a side trail that branches off of the Mariposa trail in Briones. This side trail is directly across from the 'No Bike' sign .15mi from the Russell Peak/Mariposa trail intersection. The easiest access to the Russell Peak trail head is at Wellesly Drive. This a private driveway so park on Upper Happy Valley Rd and walk up the paved road. There is an Oakland A'S Mark Ellis Bobble Head for the FTF and a Seattle Mariners travel Bug. Enjoy the views from this pretty corner of Briones.
