Geocache Description:

There are several good caches along this road, but I thought I would add a few basic hides along the way. There aren't any puzzles in this area, so here is an easy one to get things going on Cache Route 30.

The cache is not at the indicated coordinates.

It is an easy, basic find. You are looking for a clear cylindrical container with a geocaching sticker and a camo top. There is a small reward for the first finder.

You will have to use simple math to calculate the correct coordinates. I would suggest adding or subtracting from the North. I would also suggest adding or subtracting from the West. The number you use is up to you but I think you'll come up with it rather quickly.

Route 30, although it's a busy road, is popular with bicyclists, runners and walkers since it's a rare-for-Vermont flat road for several miles along the West River. Near the beginning of Route 30, just north of the Brattleboro Retreat, there's a pull-off that is a good place to park to begin your ride, run or walk. I suggest bicyling as a good cover for caching up Route 30, as you grab caches and grab exercise too.
