The caches in this series recognizes projects that scouts have completed in the Black Mountain District of the San Diego-Imperial Council. The Black Mountain District covers from Rancho Penesquitos to Poway to Rancho Bernardo. Our Council covers all of San Diego and Imperial Counties, all the way from the Pacific Coast to the Arizona border.
The Clyde B. Flynn Memorial
The Clyde B. Flynn Memorial Stage Stop was completed on April 10, 2010. It honors Clyde B. Flynn who was a Scouting volunteer for over 33 years and a long-time resident of the City of Poway. Clyde was an Eagle Scout Leadership Service Project Counselor for over 23 years and counseled over 450 Life Scouts on their Eagle Projects.
