This cache is an ammo can and should not be to tough, but it may get tougher in the winter months. The sad thing about this one; is that it's only for the South Bounders on the interstate. Also it is not handicap available.
This scale was here when I moved to Shelby in 1976. It served both the North and South Bound travelers since the South bound lane was a two way traffic, until the Northbound lane was built in 1979. Then it was used for the SB traffic up until 1989, now it's only occasionally open. The main scale for the NB & SB traffic is located at Coutts, Alberta, Canada; where both US and Canadian employes work.
