Otawa Trig off Upper Papamoa Road, track can be steep and slippery in places
Otawa Trig is one of the higher points in the western Bay Of Plenty with an elevation of 564 metres.
Take the track from Upper Papamoa Road and head off to the Otawa trig going past the first trig in paddock with gps in hand looking for a big rock, it will be obvious. Approx 1 hour from your car.
The cache is a white square plastic jar with a green lid containing a canadian coin, trout fly, pocket knife, immatation zippo, key ring, motorcycle badge, highlighter and a torch. Don't forget to leave your details as well.
Once you have found this cache carry on and locate the cache further up the track. Have fun.
