Geocache Description:

A camo-d lock 'n lock.

This cemetery is approximately a 30 minute walk from the cruise ship pier in Dockyards, or a short bus or scooter ride (Bus route 7,8).
This cemetery contains memorials to many members of the Royal Navy who succumbed to Yellow Fever in the mid-19th century. Many servicemen also died as a result of an accident, and the details are chronicled on many tombstones.

Interestingly, all graves in this graveyard are below ground. Many cemeteries in Bermuda consist of family crypts, which are above ground.

When you are finished exploring the cemetery, take a 2 second walk back across the main road and enjoy the little parkette next to the ocean. The most beautiful sunsets can be seen here.
