Geocache Description:

The cache is an easy five minute walk off a grid road through an abandoned farm yard. Although easy walking, watch your step! There are some hidden dangers. Don't worry about trespassing, the land belongs to a relative of one of our team members. By the way, from this location you will have a good view across the prairie landscape.

The farm yard consists of two old wooden granaries, several piles of junk, some lumber (with exposed nails), barbed wire and the odd hole in the ground. One of our party stepped in a hole and went in knee deep! The cache is hidden in an old piece of machinery and consists of the following items: 4 hats of assorted colors (a red one, a white one, a black one and a green one), 1 Halloween candle (with matches), 2 small Canadian flags, 1 wallet (empty - sorry!), 1 eye glass case, 2 decks of playing cards, 1 earphone, 1 sewing kit with pin cushion, 6 assorted key chains, 1 fridge magnet, 1 new pencil, 1 bottle opener, a pair of shoelaces, 1 golf ball, 5 souvenir lapel pins, 1 nylon jacket, 1 CD of assorted computer games, a first aid kit, 2 drink coasters, a wooden nickel (good for a free game of miniature golf in Myrtle Beach, SC) and a set of reflector strips. We also included the GeoCache instruction sheet, a sharpened pencil and a log book all stored in a rectangular clear plastic storage container.
