The cache is hidden off a hiking trail in a corner of Pedernales Falls State Park near Johnson City (Entry fee Req'd). Be prepared for aproximately a 5.6 mile hike and take water. (The trail markings have been improved significantly since the cache was placed but it would be wise to set a few waypoints at trail intersections for the return trip.) Start at the parking and trailhead coordinates provided and hike down to Trammel Crossing. NOTE, this may be impassable in high water conditions. The trail leads to within 60 feet of the cache, so almost NO bushwhacking and absolutely no cliff scaling is necessary.
Enjoy the scenery and even some old Pioneer homestead ruins along the way.
When you reach the cache, please be respectful of the area - you will understand when you get there. Please help to keep the park clean and undamaged.
Enjoy and good luck, Pezman, Jitters, Pit Queen, Foxy, and Rooster accompanied by Bo, Jett and Charlie
