Geocache Description:

Cache located just off a main path. You are looking for a small camouflaged box.

This is a circular walk of about 4 miles around Dunwich Forest. The full series includes 9 caches and a bonus cache. Collect clues from 6 of the caches to give you the coordinates for the bonus. The walk is generally on good woodland paths and tracks, although some areas can be muddy after rain. You can park in the car park at N52°16.991´ E001° 36.452´. The Forestry Commission, Suffolk Wildlife Trust and the RSPB manage Dunwich Forest in partnership. The conifer plantations that have dominated in recent years are being replaced with more natural mixed woodland and heath, a process known as ‘re-wilding’. Areas in the north are being grazed by a herd of Dartmoor ponies, while to the south is the birdlife-rich heathland habitat.
