Dunwich Forest 8 - Stumped Traditional Cache
Phil and Sue: Temporarily disabling the series as there is significant forestry activity near the start of the route, including a closure of the parking area. This likely to be ongoing for several weeks, so will reassess once the area is reopened.

After Dunwich Forest 7 cache, follow the Sandlings Path northwards over a couple of cattle grids until you come to a main route on the left heading WSW, straight for the cache.
(JAN 2012: Directions changed as there has been a lot of recent logging activity just south of the cache site, but the main route is quite clear.)
You are looking for a small round clip-top container, large enough for TB's and small swaps.
This is a circular walk of about 4 miles around the old Royal Hunting grounds of Dunwich Forest. The full series includes 9 caches and a bonus cache. Collect clues from 6 of the caches to give you the coordinates for the bonus.
The walk is generally on good woodland paths and tracks, although some areas can be muddy after rain.
You can park in the car park at N52°16.991´ E001° 36.452´.
The Forestry Commission, Suffolk Wildlife Trust and the RSPB manage Dunwich Forest in partnership. The conifer plantations that have dominated in recent years are being replaced with more natural mixed woodland and heath, a process known as ‘re-wilding’. Areas in the north are being grazed by a herd of Dartmoor ponies, while to the south is the birdlife-rich heathland habitat.
