Geocache Description:

This is the least well known but most peaceful and tranquil part of the Tarka Trail. It’s a really wonderful quiet and scenic stretch that heads north on the old railway path from Torrington and through East Yarde, Petrockstowe and Meeth. We've laid a few caches along this stretch and depending on your fitness, you could collect them in one go or there are places to park in between if you'd rather collect them in stages.

There are places to stop for food and drink on the way.

Torrington - Puffing Billy Pub
East Yarde - Yarde Cafe
PetrockStowe - Laurrels Pub
Meeth - Bull and Dragon Pub

If you wish to cycle but don't have a bike they can be hired from Bike hire company on the Tarka Trail in Torrington.

From Torrington to Meeth you can collect the following caches
