Cache is off of trails mostly used as mountain bike trails, but
people do hike. In the woods, in the brush, winding trails.
CAUTION - most people use these trails for mountain biking, so you
may want to go that way, although there are some hikers on the
trail occasionally. If you hike, you should watch for bikers while
hunting. If you bring children, make sure you hike single file and
be ready to get them off the trail quickly as bikers come through
blind turns with lots of speed! The terrain can get interesting
since it is set up for biking.
This cache is now an ammo box, restocked with new stuff and a new
log book. The new original contents are related to biking or hiking
(new flashlight, emergency blanket, whistle, tire repair kits, CITO
kits, as well as some insect repellent to use and place back in the
cache for the next cachers). You are welcome to trade anything, but
try to leave similar valued items to preserve the cache value.
The best place to park is at N39 55.591 and W086 04.693 up to the
left. Pay attention to the posted signs. Good luck!!!
