Turf War: Operation Trojan Freedom
Like the other "Turf War" geocaches by several area cachers, this cache is not meant to offend or attack anyone. It's all in good fun!
The sovereignty of our land has been repeatedly threatened by our eastern neighbor, Highland Ranger. With small strikes and daring incursions, the peace that we have thus far enjoyed has been irrepairably disturbed. We have, for a long period, remained silent while the attacks raged on the periphery of our homestead. We have failed to act to maintain a semblance of reverance for our much honored neighbor. But the time for inaction has passed. For the sake of those dwelling within the borders of our city and their continued security, we must take decisive action.
Therefore, I announce the commencement of a cooperative joint operation to swiftly retalliate and drive back the eastern insurrection force. Operation Trojan Freedom will be a massive, multi-theatre tactical invasion led by the Neumann family and allies. This operations stated intent is to shock and demoralize the opposing insurgents while liberating those Trojans who find themselves smothered under the oppression of their tyrannical ruler.
This initiative will be carried out by multi-faceted, innovative and unique tactical placements in the enemy homeland.
The sniper squad is posted on a likely route to pin down any reinforcments arriving from the eastern front. Snipers are adept at blending into the most unlikely environments in condidtions most others would find very objectionable.
When attmpting to defeat this powerful squad, expect harsh conditions, difficult travel and fierce resistance.
