GLF
In 1920 the New York State Grange, the Dairymen’s League, and the State Farm Bureau Federation cooperated together to form the Grange League Federation, or GLF. There was a GLF store in nearly every rural town providing feed, seed, fertilizer, hand tools and supplies, almost everything a Farmer would need. The Belfast GLF now gone stood just up around the bend near the Pa. Railroad very near this spot. In 1964 GLF became what is today known as Agway, based in Syracuse NY.
