Geocache Description:

This series of caches is located on MacCallum's Point along a 5 km dirt road leading to the Indian Head Lighthouse. The road is not maintained during the winter and may be very muddy in the spring and after rain. The road is ideal for cross-country skiing and snow shoeing during the winter. All caches are winter friendly, and several give great views of Bedeque Bay, Holman's Island and Summerside. This cache is located 1 km off-shore at the end of a rocky break water. Other than by boat, it can only be accessed at low tide, either by scrambling along the breakwater, or by wading alongside it. The cache is not suitable for swag and you must bring a writing instrument. CAUTION: There is plenty of time to safely get to and from the cache during low tide, but you MUST consult the local tide tables to do so. Be aware that the break water rocks may be wet and slippery. Wading through the water can be very tiring.
