The cache is a 1.2 litre sistema container, painted black.
Licola village started as a timber town; when the loggers moved out it was taken over by the Lions clubs, and offers holiday camps for schools and others. It is the only privately owned town in Victoria and the only one not on mains power.The town generates its own power, pumps and treats its own water and is responsible for its waste management.The greater part of the town is occupied by the Licola Wilderness Village, where Lions Clubs for over 35 years have run camps for disadvantaged children and special needs groups, mostly held during the school holidays. There is also a caravan park and bunkhouse.
The cache is located near a lookout, reachable by a shortwalk up a steep gravel path.
The cache contains a log book and pen, 2 AA batteries, 4 band-aids, a small toy car, a foldback clip, a box of matches, and a pack of moist wipes
