Vraj jeden z najstarsich, a doteraz funkcnych hostincov. Je zakresleny uz v mape, ktora pochadza z roku 1780. K jeho vynimocnosti prispieva aj jedna zvlastnost, ktoru si vsimnete uz zvonku na streche.

The oldest remaining tavern in Slovakia?

Allegedly one of the oldest and still functioning taverns. It's even mentioned on the map from the year 1780. You can note of one of it’s rareness outside, on the roof.

Stage 2 - Tono Bernolak

Pomnik Antona Bernolaka

Pomnik s bustou tohto slavneho Slovaka ma v obci svoje cestne miesto. Samozrejme, poctou tomuto kodifikatorovi, je uz aj samotny nazov obce, ktora nesie jeho meno od roku 1948. Anton Bernolak posobil ako kaplan v obci v rokoch 1787-1791, a pocas tohto obdobia vznikla aj jeho najznamejsia praca.

Anton Bernolak Memorial

The memorial with a bust of this famous Slovak has it own place of honour. Also, the honour is already given by the name of the village which is bearing his name since 1948. Anton Bernolak was a village chaplain during the years of 1787-1791 when he’s written his most famous work.

Stlp hanby

V minulosti boli ludia za drobne kradeze, vytrznictva, urazanie vrchnosti ci dokonca klebety vyvazovany za trest na stlp hanby, kde ich mohli vidiet vsetci ludia vychadzajuci z kostola.

Column of shame

In the past, people who were stealing, hooligans, offending the suzerain or even when they were gossiping they were tied to the column of shame where everybody who was leaving the church could see them.

Stage 5 - Vardomb

Vodna veza

Na vrsku nedaleko kostola sa nachadza veza, Vardomb, ktora pripomina straznu vezu. Je postavena na mieste kde volakedy stal Ceklisky hrad a sluzila ako vodarenska veza. Ma tvar valca a po bokoch je akoby podoprena x stlpikmi.

Water tower

On the hill close to the church is a tower, Vardomb, which reminds of a watch-tower. It was build on the place where Ceklis Castle used to stand and this tower was used as a water tower. It has a shape of a caster and on its sides is sort of braced by x columns.

Stage 6 – Bozia muka

Bozia muka pochadzajuca zo 17. storocia

Tato bola postavena na pamiatku ukoncenia morovej epidemie, a zaujimavostou je ze na dane miesto bola premiestnena. Povodne stala na konci obce. Na tabulke umiestnenej na stlpe je uvedeny rok obnovenia.

Column of the crucifixion

This column was build to remember the end of a plague epidemic. It's worth to note that the column was moved to its current location and it was originally standing at the end of the village. Year of restoration is mentioned on a plate attached to the column. .

Pamatna tabula sa nachadza na budove kulturneho domu.
