Geocache Description:

In Reynolds Cemetery

The physical cache, a camoed small lock 'n lock, was a super, duper, Christmas surprise from the famous Spring Arbor cacher, beenhere.

Legend has it that every year, between dusk on Nov. 21 and dawn on Nov. 22, the ghost of Eunice White travels from her grave in St. John's Cemetery to Reynolds Cemetery to visit her father, Jacob Crouch. They were both murdered in a nearby home in 1883 sometime between dusk and dawn on those dates. Traditionally, local curious will gather at this cemetery to catch a glimpse of the ghost. Yes, I've done that.

This cemetery is open 8 a.m. to dusk, please respect these hours, as well as the property. Parking is available west of the church off Horton Rd. The gated entrance to the cemetery (foot traffic only) is on Reynolds Rd. The gate could be tough to open if there is much snow on the ground, otherwise the cache should be fairly winter friendly.
