Geocache Description:

Crni grad (Black fotress) and Beli grad (White fortress) were two medieval castles in northern-central Istria. There was an important road between those two hills connecting Istria with the rest of Europe. Today, the rests of Crni grad are not visible. If you reach the top - you will see only a pile of stones. But, near the top of the hill - there is a small church (Sveti Toma) and a beatifull panoramic point of northern Istria and Cicarija mountains.

The cache is a small plastic box containing a logbook, key chain and a small map of Florence. No pencil - take your own.

By the way, there are two ways to reach the cache. From the Village of Kompanj or from Rocko polje. The latter is easier. For hiking enthusiasts, see this track from Krkuš to Crni grad.
