Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Black Creek Ravines Conservation Area, near Middleburg, FL.

If you've never visited Black Creek Ravines you have missed one of the most beautiful areas in northeastern Florida. The area is open to hikers and horses only, no bicycles or motorized vehicles. Also there's no hunting allowed so it's safe any time of year. The trails are wide and well maintained, but you'll be hiking about a mile to get to the cache. Be sure to check out the numerous ravine overlooks to see that Florida is definitely not all flat! The cache is located about 20 ft. off a spur trail that leads to an overlook not shown on the trail map. Trail maps should be available in the parking area. You will be looking for a full sized ammo box. This is tick country so wear lots of insect repellant and be on the lookout for those banana spiders when you get close to the cache! Please be sure to cover the cache up so others can have the fun of the find. NOTE: Cache has been moved closer to the trail. Coordinates shown have been updated.
